He doesn't get enough credit. No, he's not on Tanner's level, but he's better than the average driver, and much more entertaining.

If it didn't have the name "Top Gear" people would be talking about how wonderful it is.

Taking the Top Gear format and trying to re-create it with different hosts and different producers in a different country is like making a sequel to a hit movie where all the actors and director are different. You're setting up expectations that can never be filled.

this is how i feel on it too - i enjoy it, and i think if people weren't so hung up on it being called "Top Gear" they'd enjoy it a lot more too. One of my favorite parts of UK top gear has always been the cheap car challenges, and thats a large portion of what the us version is now. plus they, being in the us, can do some stuff that wouldn't work in the uk/europe. namely, we have trucks. and giant luxobarges of the 70s/80s. and way more open spaces

Oh yeah. It's like Mortal Kombat 2 - after 10 minutes when we realized the whole cast was different and it was pretty sucky, we left. The original Mortal Kombat was a lot of fun. The sequel... really bad. Well, except I don't thing TGUSA is MK2 bad. I actually enjoy the show.

Both duches. Adam admittedly is less of a duche, reason why I don't watch TGUSA is because of Tanner.... That dude irritates me like nothing else on this planet, hell even Hillary Clinton does not irritate me as much as Tanner does, and that's saying something.
